SBR Assist provides consulting services in good faith; however, SBR Assist does not accept any responsibility or liability for any actions, decisions, or outcomes related to the client’s matters with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Any recommendations or assistance provided by SBR Assist are advisory in nature and should not be construed as directives or guarantees of any specific outcome. 
2. Client Acknowledgment of Responsibilities
The client acknowledges and accepts that SBR Assist has not identified, nor will it be held responsible for, any alleged or actual misconduct related to their ATO matter. The client agrees to independently review and take full responsibility for any actions they undertake based on the consulting work provided. 
3. Not Legal or Financial Advice
 The client acknowledges that SBR Assist is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Any advice or consulting work provided must be reviewed by the client’s legal representatives, who are solely responsible for advising the client on legal matters. Additionally, SBR Assist does not provide financial advice or any financial services under the meaning of the **Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)**. Any insights, observations, or suggestions offered during consulting engagements do not constitute financial advice, and the client is strongly encouraged to seek independent financial advice from a qualified professional before making any financial decisions.  
4. Client’s Duty to Seek Professional Advice
The client acknowledges that they are solely responsible for obtaining independent legal and financial advice before acting on any information provided by SBR Assist. The client agrees that SBR Assist shall not be held liable for any loss, damages, or consequences resulting from reliance on its consulting services.
5. Indemnity
The client agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SBR Assist, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, expenses (including legal fees), or losses arising out of or related to:
  • Any action, inaction, or reliance by the client on the consulting services provided by SBR Assist;
  • Any claim or proceeding brought by a third party, including but not limited to government agencies, alleging misconduct, non-compliance, or wrongdoing in relation to the client’s ATO matter;
  • Any failure by the client to obtain and act upon independent legal or financial advice in relation to the services provided by SBR Assist.
This indemnity shall apply to any claims arising now or in the future and shall survive the termination or expiration of this agreement.
